My Story.....
I am a guitarist, keyboardist, song writer. and performer. I have been making music since the age of 7 when my father purchased my first guitar for me. I fell in love with the guitar and Glen Campbell's "Gentle on my mind", promptly plucked out the melody by ear, and have been making music ever since.
My passion has always been music performance and song writing. My musical influences derive from jazz, blues, rock, and country music. My Favorite Artists are Glen Campbell, Chet Atkins, Tommy Emmanuel, Carlos Santana, Eric Clapton, and Eddie Van Halen.
I have completed my first Album entitled "Mixed Emotions", a mix of country, rock, and adult contemporary music. I am very excited that one of the album's songs, "You're gonna learn", was selected as a 2020 finalist in the"Country" Category of the Great American Song Competition.
I have also completed a contemporary Christian album entitled "Why I Sing", and have also created a musical collection of contemporary psalms entitled "From God's Heart to my Hands", and a Mass Setting titled "Mass of Joy" for use in Christian worship services.
I continue to perform regularly as a solo acoustic performer and also with my bands, "The Funky Uncles" and the "Navigtors". I also provide music for wedding services, dinner music for wedding receptions, and for club and corporate events.
I believe that the ability to write songs and perform music is a blessing and gift from God, so I regularly participate in musical performances with the Navigators to raise money for local and national charities.
